As a senior consultant at Kinaura Partners, Suzanna brings deep expertise in strategy implementation, partnership building, facilitation, analysis, advocacy, and organizational capacity strengthening. Working with the Women’s Health & SRHR team, she supports complex initiatives by applying strong technical and operational skills and guiding partners through collaborative, evidence‑informed processes.
Suzanna has 20 years of experience in development finance advocacy, with a focus on domestic resource mobilization, expenditure tracking, and leveraging credits and grants from multilateral development banks such as the World Bank. She specializes in strengthening advocacy coalitions, facilitating strategy development, providing technical assistance in health financing, and shaping messaging and communications for high‑level policy engagement. Her work includes supporting partners such as the Gates Foundation and the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children, and Adolescents (GFF), and she has successfully led cross‑cultural, intergenerational, and multilingual coalitions.
Prior to joining Kinaura, Suzanna spent more than a decade leading the health financing portfolio at PAI, advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for women and girls. She managed a multi‑million‑dollar project that delivered technical support and grants to civil society organizations in 25 countries each year. She also served as PAI’s director of research and led the organization’s reproductive health financing program.
Suzanna holds an MIA in international affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a BA in sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She has worked in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, and Bolivia, and has supported advocacy efforts in many other countries. She currently resides outside Washington, DC.
Outside of work, Suzanna enjoys renovating a 190‑year‑old house in the Appalachian Mountains and selling vintage treasures.
