Kinaura Partners supported the Gates Foundation in designing and standing up a new Climate Adaptation Advocacy Partner Network—transforming a set of early grants into a coordinated, high-functioning community of practice. Working closely with foundation teams and advocacy organizations, Kinaura co-developed a three-year network strategy that clarified the collective vision, outcomes, and priority areas for engagement. We facilitated in-person convenings to build relationships and shared purpose, and we structured thematic working groups to align partners around key climate finance and policy moments, including global adaptation processes. Through this early strategy and design support, the network established a clear identity, shared agenda, and pathways for collaboration.
Kinaura also provided ongoing operational and facilitation support to help partners translate strategy into action. We created regular touchpoints, supported coordination across organizations, and developed practical mechanisms for information-sharing and joint planning. These efforts enabled partners to respond more cohesively to emerging opportunities, elevate aligned messages, and strengthen their influence across adaptation financing and policy spaces. By blending strategic design with steady execution, Kinaura helped build a durable advocacy network that continues to drive coordinated action on adaptation at global and regional levels.
