As a senior engagement lead at Kinaura Partners, Latasha brings extensive expertise in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition (RMNCH+N) policy analysis and development. Within the Women’s Health & SRHR team, she contributes strengths in strategic planning, program implementation and oversight, multi‑stakeholder engagement, donor relations, and deep country‑level knowledge across Africa. Her work also draws on a strong understanding of global socio‑economic and political contexts, development economics, health financing, and communications.
Latasha has more than twenty years of experience in global health and development, with recognized expertise in women’s health and SRHR. She has partnered with governments, community‑based organizations, multilaterals, the private sector, philanthropies, and research institutions across Africa. Her recent collaborations include supporting the Gates Foundation and the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
Previously, Latasha served as principal investigator and deputy director for a major PEPFAR‑funded HIV treatment, care, and support program in South Africa. She guided the government in scaling differentiated models of HIV care, applying a health‑systems‑strengthening approach to ensure that expanded services remained accessible and responsive to the needs of people living with HIV.
Latasha holds an MPH from Boston University. She has worked in the United States, South Africa, Nigeria, Lesotho, Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, and currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Outside of work, Latasha enjoys spending time with her three busy and talented teenagers — often cheering them on at sporting events or school performances.
