Her leadership supports programs across a range of issues related to immunization – from childhood vaccines and enteric diseases to environmental surveillance and health systems strengthening. With a strong track record in coalition building and multilateral coordination, Kristen is advancing efforts that help ensure vaccines reach the people who need them most.

Some examples of work Kristen and her team have supported include:

  • Resource mobilization for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance
  • Strategic planning and implementation for the Gates Foundation, for both program teams and advocacy & communications teams
  • Developing and implementing an advocacy strategy for the Global Task Force on Cholera Control, along with supporting the critical efforts of Wellcome Trust, IFRC, WHO, and the Gates Foundation to achieve the aims of the Cholera Roadmap by 2030.
  • Advancing the uptake of multi-pathogen collaborative surveillance innovations like wastewater and environmental surveillance.

Kristen holds an MPH and MPA from Columbia University and a BA from Haverford College.

When she’s not leading transformative global health work, Kristen enjoys traveling with her partner and two kids, and playing soccer with her local league.
