Since 2017, Kinaura has worked closely with the Global Task Force on Cholera Control (GTFCC) partnership to launch, promote, and advance the Ending Cholera: A Global Roadmap to 2030 strategy through robust advocacy, communications, and event support. We contributed content to the Roadmap, including the theory of change, developed the GTFCC brand and visual presentation of the Global Roadmap, created supporting materials for cholera-affected countries, and drafted the declaration ultimately endorsed by dozens of global health organizations.
Kinaura managed the high-profile 2017 launch event in Annecy, France and delivered a comprehensive media and social media campaign that generated significant global visibility for cholera control efforts. Over the years, we have continued to support the GTFCC with global advocacy planning, including developing toolkits, coordinating World Health Assembly side events for 2018 to 2024, Annual Meetings, and convening multi-agency stakeholder groups across UNICEF, Gavi, CDC, Wellcome, PATH, WaterAid, and the Gates Foundation. Our ongoing leadership in stakeholder engagement helped establish a standing advocacy task team, strengthening cross-sector commitment to ending cholera and sustaining momentum for Roadmap implementation.
