Kinaura collaborated with the Global Financing Facility (GFF) to conduct an in-depth stakeholder mapping and perception analysis across five African countries. The objective was to give the GFF Secretariat a baseline understanding of key actors, their engagement in the GFF process, and emerging challenges that could influence country partnerships and donor confidence.
Our team combined desk research and targeted interviews with GFF Liaison Officers, government focal points, World Bank Task Team Leaders, Secretariat staff, and civil society representatives to produce five detailed country reports. The analysis found strong engagement overall but revealed opportunities to raise GFF’s visibility, highlight its broader value beyond the Trust Fund, and address issues related to International Development Association (IDA) leveraging and debt sustainability.
The project informed the Secretariat’s efforts to strengthen country engagement and external communication and throughout the project, Kinaura leveraged our ability to combine structured analysis, stakeholder insight, and policy understanding to inform global partners’ strategies for effective country engagement and institutional visibility.
