Kinaura Partners convenes the global Wastewater & Environmental Surveillance (WES) Funders Forum, a collaboration among major donors—including the Gates Foundation, HERA, the Institute of Philanthropy, and the Islamic Development Bank—working to advance WES research, introduction, and scale-up, particularly in LMICs. Through this platform, Kinaura has helped funders to elevate WES as a global priority for outbreak prevention, One Health, and resilient health systems; mobilize more than $24M in aligned co-funding; and ensure that LMIC partners can meaningfully shape the agenda by sharing experiences, needs, and leadership. The Forum also strengthens pathways for sustainable financing, including engagement with multilateral development banks.
