As a managing director at Kinaura Partners, Timothy provides strategic leadership to the Global Health Institutions, Strategies & Partnerships (GHISP) team. In this capacity, he forges and manages high-impact partnerships – including with the Gates Foundation – and advises on engagement with leading global health institutions such as the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and the Global Financing Facility. Timothy is recognized for his deep understanding of the global health ecosystem, complemented by exceptional problem-solving skills, stakeholder management expertise, and diplomatic acumen.
With over 15 years of experience in global health and development, Timothy has worked extensively in low- and middle-income countries. His expertise spans primary health care, immunization, maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), infectious and non-communicable diseases, global health product development, and last-mile service delivery.
Prior to joining Kinaura, Timothy served as a health strategist, global health fellow, and international consultant with the Gates Foundation. Earlier, he practiced as a family physician at Lagos University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria and held roles with the WHO Regional Office for Africa, John Snow Inc., and the Society for Family Health.
Timothy holds an MPH in global health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an MBBS from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP) and has lived and worked in Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, and the United States. He currently resides in Canada.
Outside of work, Timothy is passionate about volunteering and exploring the outdoors. A self-proclaimed tennis historian, basketball pundit, and master of card games, his greatest joy is spending quality time with his family.
