As chief strategy officer at Kinaura Partners, Susannah serves on the executive team, shaping organizational leadership and strategy in close collaboration with the CEO and COO. She also leads Kinaura’s initiatives in Women’s Health and SRHR, as well as Equality, Power, and Participation. Susannah brings a feminist and equity-centered approach to strategy and leadership, with a strong emphasis on building collaborative platforms that intentionally connect Kinaura’s global team with diverse partners and clients across countries, regions, disciplines, and cultures.
With over twenty years of experience in global health and development, Susannah has deep expertise in women’s health and SRHR, gender equality, and global health architecture. She has partnered with organizations such as the Gates Foundation, PATH, the Global Financing Facility (GFF), the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (PMNCH), and the International Confederation of Midwives. Her work is grounded in inclusive leadership and facilitation practices that surface diverse perspectives, elevate underrepresented voices, and foster collective learning, shared ownership, and action.
Previously, Susannah worked with international and US-based organizations including Planned Parenthood and the Population Council. Throughout her career, she has contributed to landscape analyses, advocacy and investment strategies, policy analysis, and communications products, all aimed at advancing systems-level change through partnership and collaboration.
Susannah holds an MPH from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a BS from Bates College, where she graduated summa cum laude. She has worked with partners across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, and North America. Susannah currently resides in Colorado, United States.
Outside of work, Susannah enjoys hiking with her dogs, snowboarding, cooking, traveling, and exploring architecture and design.
