With more than 15 years of experience in global health, philanthropy, and social innovation, Suraj has extensive expertise in health systems strengthening, women’s health, and economic empowerment. His skills span financial and impact modeling, investment case development, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑sector collaboration. He supports philanthropic and nonprofit partners — including the Gates Foundation — to design and scale initiatives that drive meaningful, sustainable impact across diverse settings.
Previously, Suraj served as an engagement manager at Camber Collective, advising governments, multilaterals, and foundations on global health and gender equity strategies. He has also worked as an independent strategy consultant, a global health research associate at the George W. Bush Institute, and a business analyst at Accenture. His work has influenced investment decisions and program design across Africa, Asia, and the United States.
Suraj holds an MBA and an MPH from the University of California, Berkeley. He has worked in Kenya, Thailand, and the United States, and currently resides in Texas.
Outside of work, Suraj enjoys exploring new cuisines, traveling, and shamelessly doing whatever it takes to make his nieces laugh.
