Shingi works with the Africa team at Kinaura, supporting partners such as CHIC through strategic guidance, facilitation, and collaborative execution. Her portfolio reflects more than 15 years of experience in strategic communication, campaign design and management, risk and crisis communication, health policy and systems research, qualitative research, and facilitation. She consistently bridges research and practice, supporting leaders and institutions to drive systems‑level change.
Previously, Shingi served in advisory and leadership roles across the non‑profit and public sectors, where she led initiatives focused on health system transformation, leadership capability development, and organizational culture change. She has contributed to thought leadership in health policy and health systems, with particular attention to historical and longitudinal insights that inform sustainable transformation. Shingi is also a Women in Global Health Leadership Fellow, underscoring her commitment to advancing equitable and inclusive leadership within global health systems.
Shingi holds a BA in marketing from London Metropolitan University, a diploma in digital marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, and an MPH from the University of Cape Town. She currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa.
Outside of work, Shingi enjoys travelling with her family, long-distance running, and mentoring emerging leaders.
