As a deputy director at Kinaura Partners, Savannah brings integrated expertise in policy, advocacy, and strategic communications. Working with the Equality, Power, and Participation team, she supports complex initiatives by shaping strategies, strengthening partnerships, and designing convenings that align diverse stakeholders around shared goals. Her skills include coalition building, project and process management, and facilitating collaborative approaches that advance gender equality and community‑led priorities.
Savannah has more than 13 years of experience across gender equality, women’s health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), HIV/AIDS, and human rights, grounded in deep collaboration with global and country‑level partners. She supports organizations such as the Gates Foundation, Project Dandelion, and the International Confederation of Midwives, and has also worked with partners including the Hilton Foundation, Pro‑Choice Washington, and the Global Financing Facility (GFF).
Previously, Savannah served as a senior associate on the policy and advocacy team at Women Deliver, where she managed the Deliver for Good campaign. She also worked at the national office of Planned Parenthood and led country‑office communications for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation in Mbarara, Uganda. Her writing has appeared in Huffington Post and AllAfrica, and her research was featured in a chapter of A Reflexive Inquiry into Gender Research: Towards a New Paradigm of Knowledge Production & Exploring New Frontiers of Gender Research in Southern Africa.
Savannah holds an MA in international studies and gender studies and a BA in international relations, both awarded with honors from Old Dominion University. She has lived in Uganda and worked in the United States, Rwanda, Haiti, Senegal, and South Africa. She currently resides in Woodstock, New York.
Outside of work, Savannah enjoys reading fiction and spending time outdoors in the Hudson Valley with her partner, their two sons, and their rescue pup, Bernice.
