As a senior engagement lead at Kinaura Partners, Sarah drives high-impact strategic projects in gender equality, global health, and development. With nearly 20 years of experience, she is a trusted thought partner and project lead, collaborating with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with organizational goals. Her expertise includes developing strategic roadmaps, fostering collaboration, and advancing progress on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Sarah has partnered with leading organizations such as the Gates Foundation and Pivotal Ventures to deliver vital policy and advocacy support. She is recognized for turning research insights into actionable strategies and for crafting communications that keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

Previously, as director of gender program quality and impact at CARE, Sarah led quality, monitoring, evaluation, and learning for CARE’s portfolio of over 1,600 projects. She developed CARE’s Gender Marker Guidance materials, now adopted by philanthropic organizations, multilateral donors, and implementing agencies. Her deep experience in program quality analysis and learning has established her as a recognized leader in the sector.

Sarah holds a BA in international affairs from Northeastern University and an MA in international development, with a certificate in global health affairs, from the Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. She has lived and worked in Kenya, Tanzania, Thailand, and Liberia, and now resides outside Seattle, Washington.

Outside of work, Sarah is an avid trail runner and ultramarathoner. In winter, she enjoys skiing in the mountains with her two children.
