As a senior engagement lead at Kinaura Partners, Rachel brings deep expertise in global health innovation, policy reform, and strategic advocacy. Within the Global Health Innovations team, she leads initiatives that strengthen pathways for the research, development, introduction, and scale‑up of health products, ensuring investments deliver maximum impact.
With 15 years of experience improving health outcomes through market‑based solutions and policy change, Rachel is skilled in multilateral negotiations, health diplomacy, and reproductive, maternal, and child health product and service delivery. She supports partners such as the Gates Foundation in advancing policies and advocacy efforts that accelerate the adoption of high‑impact global health innovations.
Previously, Rachel served as the acting director for USAID’s Center for Innovation and Impact, where she oversaw health investments and streamlined mechanisms to launch and scale innovations. Earlier in her career, as a US Presidential Management Fellow in the Office of Global Affairs at the US Department of Health and Human Services, she represented the US government in World Health Organization negotiations.
Rachel holds an MPP from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy and a BA from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. She currently resides in California.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling, hiking, and photography – preferably all at once.
