As a senior consultant at Kinaura Partners, Mehreen brings more than 15 years of expertise across public health, education, social protection, and public–private partnerships. She specializes in strategy development, program design and implementation, innovative financing and partnerships, and operational leadership. Her work spans maternal and reproductive health, primary health care, and resilient food and health systems. Mehreen’s strengths include policy engagement, research and analysis, and guiding complex initiatives across diverse geographies.
Mehreen supports several portfolios at Kinaura, working with partners such as the Gates Foundation, the World Health Organization, and Gavi. She has successfully led high‑impact initiatives in Bangladesh, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria, Cameroon, Switzerland, and beyond, translating ambitious priorities into actionable, measurable outcomes.
She is also the founder of Safe Delivery Safe Mother (SDSM), an organization providing essential maternal and reproductive healthcare and climate‑resilience support in Pakistan. Under her leadership, SDSM has trained more than 1,000 health workers and supports over 500,000 pregnancies and deliveries each year, addressing leading drivers of maternal mortality and high fertility.
Previously, Mehreen worked with the Clinton Foundation, the World Bank, and McKinsey & Company across Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. She holds an MPP from the University of Oxford and completed public health training at Yale University. Her leadership has been recognized with the National Development Leadership Award (2023) from Pakistan’s Ministry of Planning and Development and the LUMS Alumni Achievement Award (2025). She is a frequent speaker on women’s rights, social justice, gender equity, and climate, and is also a TEDx speaker.
Outside of work, Mehreen enjoys running, traveling, cricket, and Urdu poetry.
