As an engagement lead at Kinaura Partners, Lydia brings expertise in participatory modeling, computational social science, and human‑centered design. Working across the Immunization & Infectious Diseases and Global Health Institutions, Strategies & Partnerships (GHISP) teams, she applies qualitative and quantitative methods to develop compelling, evidence‑based narratives and guide strategic messaging across complex technical domains.
With a decade of experience in global health, Lydia specializes in high‑impact content development, strategic communications, and project management across areas such as immunization, infectious diseases, regulatory systems, and health‑systems strengthening. She supports partners including the Gates Foundation, UNICEF, the United Nations Foundation, the World Health Organization, the Global Task Force on Cholera Control (GTFCC), and Planned Parenthood, helping align stakeholders and translate technical information into accessible, action‑oriented advocacy.
Previously, Lydia was a researcher at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation Center, where she focused on US Department of Defense and other grant‑funded research initiatives. She also held academic positions at Eastern Virginia Medical School and served as an instructor at the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. In addition, she served on the governance board for several regional and statewide research initiatives in Virginia. Her work has appeared in publications such as Frontiers in Public Health, The Washington Post, and The Conversation.
Lydia holds an MPH, a graduate certificate in modeling and simulation, and is completing her PhD in international studies. She speaks several languages and currently lives in Virginia, USA. She is driven by a commitment to health equity, collaborative problem‑solving, and amplifying community‑led solutions that advance well‑being for all.
Outside of work, Lydia enjoys trail running, traveling, and cooking.
