As a senior consultant at Kinaura Partners, Kevin brings more than 25 years of public health and policy experience, providing cross‑cutting strategic support across HIV and TB, women’s health and primary health care, locally led development, and advocacy leadership. He is known for pioneering approaches that strengthen policy, systems, and service delivery responses — especially at the intersection of sexual and reproductive health and HIV — and for facilitating the strategic, often complex conversations needed to drive meaningful change.

Kevin works across several portfolios at Kinaura, guiding multi‑country advocacy, service‑access initiatives, and leadership development efforts. He has extensive experience managing diverse teams and forging sustainable partnerships with governments, communities, UN agencies, the private sector, and donor organizations. Much of his work has focused on addressing structural barriers to access, particularly across Africa. He is also the originator of the PLHIV Stigma Index, now used in more than 45 countries as a global standard for measuring changes in HIV‑related stigma.

Most recently, Kevin served as executive director of the International AIDS Society in Geneva. His prior roles include chief of party for the PEPFAR‑ and USAID‑supported LINKAGES project focused on key populations; South Africa country director for PATH; and global HIV advisor for the International Planned Parenthood Federation in London. He has also supported global stakeholders such as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Gavi, and the WHO Foundation across a range of substantive issue areas.

Kevin holds a BA (Hons) from Rhodes University and an HDE. Born in South Africa, he is driven by a deep commitment to ensuring that policies and strategies translate into tangible improvements for people whose voices are too often unheard or discounted.
