As a senior engagement lead at Kinaura Partners, Kelly brings strong expertise in strategic project management, human‑centered design, and innovation strategy. Working with the Data Technology and Adoption (DATA) team in the Gates Foundation’s Gender Equality Division, she helps guide the development of data‑driven tools that inform global women’s health initiatives.
With more than 14 years of experience, Kelly has provided strategy consulting services to commercial, non-profit, and public sector clients. She is a seasoned strategist with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven ability to design human‑centered solutions, manage large projects and teams, and translate complex ideas into practical, impactful approaches.
Before joining Kinaura, Kelly managed human‑centered design and innovation projects at Deloitte Consulting, focusing on pharmaceutical clients. She co‑authored Designing Equality, a Deloitte Insights report featured in The Wall Street Journal. She also worked at USAID’s Center for Innovation and Impact, supporting programs in the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and earlier served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic.
Kelly holds both MPP and MBA degrees from the University of Virginia, where she co‑authored the MBA strategy chapter, Design Thinking, Lean, and Agile: The Three I’s. Her work spans the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. She lives in Denver, Colorado.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors or relaxing at home with her cat. She has run 18 marathons, including the Boston Marathon twice.
