Dipika Matthias is a global health and development leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing health technologies from concept to scale. She brings deep expertise in strategic leadership, public–private partnerships, and the full innovation lifecycle — spanning R&D, product development, market shaping, commercialization, and introduction. Her work bridges nutrition, agriculture, diagnostics, vaccines, and medical devices for primary healthcare settings, with a strong analytics background for crafting compelling value propositions for diverse stakeholders.
Dipika has collaborated with Kinaura Partners on multiple initiatives, including the design and execution of multisector consortia to accelerate technology innovation. She has supported Kinaura’s engagements with the Gates Foundation and other philanthropic and technical partners, providing strategy, partnership development, and execution support that enables complex collaborations to deliver measurable impact.
In her most recent leadership role, Dipika served as global program director of PATH’s Product and Market Advancement program. Previously, she was deputy director on the Nutrition team at the Gates Foundation, where she led the product innovation portfolio. Earlier at PATH, she guided commercialization and market introduction for a wide range of health technologies, directed a global rice fortification program reaching hundreds of millions of consumers, and launched a technology accelerator for social entrepreneurs in India and South Africa. Her publications span topics such as strengthening food‑fortification markets to reduce iron‑deficiency anemia, lessons from introducing global health technologies into local markets, and the cost‑effectiveness of integrating new technologies into health systems.
Dipika holds an MBA from Yale University. She has led partnership development efforts in more than 25 countries and lives in Seattle. Outside of work, she is an avid gardener and the proud parent of three young adults.
