As a senior engagement lead at Kinaura Partners, Anstes Agnew brings deep expertise in public investment planning, health financing, private‑sector development, and digital and AI‑enabled health solutions. She leads complex, multi‑stakeholder engagements at the intersection of public finance, health, and technology, translating strategy into actionable financing and delivery models across Kinaura’s Innovations and Private Sector portfolio.

Anstes currently directs AI strategy and policy initiatives, builds and coordinates funder coalitions, and designs financing mechanisms that accelerate global health R&D and innovation. She also shapes engagement with Ministries of Health and Finance to strengthen investment planning and support effective implementation.

With more than 15 years of experience in strategy, policy, and advisory roles, Anstes has served as an embedded advisor to governments on health systems and public financial management. She has provided technical and managerial support to major donors — including the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the Global Fund — and led large‑scale implementation efforts for organizations such as the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).

Anstes holds an MPA from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a BA in international relations from Stanford University. She has lived and worked across East and West Africa and currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

Outside of work, Anstes can often be found on long walks catching up on podcasts or practicing yoga on her porch.
