As a Senior Consultant at Kinaura Partners, Anne Marie Copek works with the Surveillance Team, supporting the Gates Foundation. Within her portfolio, she brings a hybrid blend of technical public health knowledge and high-level communications expertise.
Anne Marie has 15 years of experience in global public health delivery, corporate and product communications, and philanthropic investment management. She specializes in transforming complex epidemiological data and public health insights into actionable advocacy, communications, and program implementation strategies.
Previously, Anne Marie has served as a program officer on the Immunization Program Strategy Team at the Gates Foundation, a country engagement manager for Gavi’s COVAX Facility, and a senior vice president at Weber Shandwick. She has a deep track record of working embedded alongside diverse, multi-level teams. Additionally, she’s served as a consultant for the World Health Organization where she led technical communications for the rollout of the novel oral polio vaccine type 2 (nOPV2), the first vaccine introduced under a WHO Emergency Use Listing. In this role, she served as the principal writer for the vaccine’s official technical implementation guidance, collaborating closely with country, regional, and global stakeholders to align on and deliver robust program implementation strategies.
Anne Marie holds an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in political science from the University of Notre Dame. She has lived and worked across countries and regions, including France, Jordan, Moldova, the Republic of the Congo, and the United States. She is currently based in New York.
Outside of work, Anne Marie dedicates time to continuously developing her language skills. She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
